The Cambodia Tourism Board said Angkor Wat and Bayon Temple ranked first and 17th among Asian attractions. Siem Reap and Phnom Penh also made other lists.

The Cambodia Tourism Board said Angkor Wat topped Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best list for attractions in Asia.
The Asia Top Attractions awards recognise popular natural and human-made sites based on feedback from people who visited in person.
About 49,300 travellers chose Angkor Wat on Tripadvisor, reflecting its reputation among visitors from around the world. Bayon Temple ranked 17th with recommendations from more than 20,800 travellers. The results brought Cambodia further international recognition.
Cambodia also appeared in other Tripadvisor categories. Siem Reap ranked fifth among Asian destinations, 10th among cultural destinations worldwide, 14th among destinations worldwide and 15th in Tripadvisor’s 25th anniversary list.
The awards underscore Siem Reap’s popularity in Asia and globally. Its World Heritage sites, museums and ancient carvings offer visitors a rich and memorable cultural experience.
Phnom Penh ranked 17th among trending destinations and 18th among Asian destinations. The results reflect the capital’s appeal and range of activities for international visitors.
The 2025 Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best awards recognise destinations, hotels, restaurants and attractions that received high Tripadvisor ratings over the previous 12 months. Fewer than one percent of more than eight million listings worldwide receive the distinction.
