The education ministry said staff who photograph and share exam materials before results are announced would face legal consequences.

Preah Sihanouk Provincial Television, August 31 — The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport said staff who photograph and share exam questions, candidates’ answer sheets or marking guides before the results are officially announced would be held legally responsible.
The ministry issued the reminder in a notice.
To safeguard legality, fairness, transparency and confidence in the exam, the ministry directed marking committees at all levels to follow these rules while grading the national upper-secondary school examination that began on August 28.
Staff must not photograph or distribute questions, candidates’ answer sheets or marking guides in any form.
Exam questions and marking guides must remain inside the marking centre.
Exam questions must be handed to the centre’s central committee after marking is complete. Marking guides must be returned at the end of each work session.
As of 1:10 p.m. on August 30, answer sheets from all provinces had reached the marking centre at Sisowath High School in Phnom Penh. They were being kept securely under the national examination authorities and the Anti-Corruption Unit.
