Kith Meng led Cambodian business representatives in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1, focusing on digital technology for small and medium-sized firms.

During the Cambodian government delegation’s visit to China led by Prime Minister Hun Manet, Neak Oknha Kith Meng, president of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and chair of the ASEAN–Cambodia Business Advisory Council, led business representatives to Tianjin from August 31 to September 1 for the expanded Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meeting and a series of business exchanges.
The delegation focused on practical uses of digital technology for small and medium-sized enterprises. It discussed these with Chinese organisations and firms, exchanged experience and explored new opportunities. Kith Meng said digitalisation was an important way for small and medium-sized enterprises to compete and reach markets, and Cambodia wanted to learn from China’s experience.
The report described Tianjin as a northern gateway with a strong industrial base and established financial, trade and education sectors. It said the exchanges strengthened trust and cooperation between Cambodia and China in trade and the digital economy.
The visit brought companies in the two countries into closer contact and, according to the report, gave Cambodian small and medium-sized enterprises further impetus to digitalise and develop.
