It is investigating their origin.","body":"Phnom Penh. Cambodia’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) said on September 1, 2025, that maths papers posted online matched roughly 80–100% of the August 29 exam. It will continue investigating who photographed the papers, an act prohibited by the Ministry of Education.\nThe ACU’s initial forensic examination covered retyped questions, blurry photographs and clear copies with or without the education minister’s initials. It found that the material matched 80–100% of the science-stream maths paper used from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on August 29, 2025.\nThe ACU said the collected social media images showed the actual questions. Some had been taken from directly above or from the front and cropped at the top. One of four images retained the original header in full. The ACU said the minister’s initials on a clear, fully matching image may indicate that it was not taken during drafting by teachers or while papers were being assembled and passed via an undersecretary of state to the minister for review, approval and initialling.\nThe ACU said the paper could have been photographed at several points after the minister initialled it: during copying, when envelopes of 100 papers for four classes or separate envelopes of 20 reserve papers were filled, or when the papers were packed by exam centre and locked in boxes at the National Institute of Education. It said another opportunity could arise after delivery to exam centres. Classes with fewer than 25 candidates because of absences might have one or two unused unnamed papers that someone carrying a phone could photograph. Those authorised to carry phones include centre heads, disciplinary officers, examination and security leads, ACU officials and observers.\nPreah Sihanouk Provincial Television reporter: ចិន្តា ទីទិ","contentScope":"full","proof":{"publishedSourceRevision":"1","publishedWorkingVersionId":"18703","languageVersionId":"19125","visibilityVersion":"2","versionToken":"a1.tjQhzxY8YqkTPVXFe-Z8hWTjiquijV6ycvh2UuYxs-M"},"availableLocales":["zh","en","km"],"attributes":{"sourceLocale":"km","translationKind":"machine","nodeId":"12","authorText":"","sourceName":""},"references":[],"links":[],"publishedAt":"2025-09-01T04:22:48Z"}
