Wang Wenbin discussed aid after the border conflict. The report also covers talks between the countries’ leaders, ASEAN ceasefire monitoring and RMB 20 million in humanitarian aid.

Chinese Ambassador Wang Wenbin said on Facebook on September 2 that China was the first country to offer aid to Cambodia after the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict and had provided the most. He said China was a trusted partner in the past, present and future.
His comments followed Prime Minister Hun Manet’s visit with a high-level delegation to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Plus summit. The report described significant political, diplomatic and economic results.
Hun Manet also held separate talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. China pledged to strengthen bilateral cooperation through the Diamond framework, the Fish and Rice Corridor and the Industrial and Technology Corridor. It backed the ceasefire and ASEAN monitoring led by Malaysia and called for the swift formation of an ASEAN Observer Team (AOT). China also provided RMB 20 million in humanitarian aid to help repair damage and support people affected by the late-July clashes.
