Cambodia’s transport ministry said Article 14 of the Law on Waterway Transport requires coastal and inland vessels operating in Cambodian waters to undergo inspection and obtain a certificate.

Coastal and inland vessels in Cambodia must undergo technical inspections. Article 14 of the Law on Waterway Transport requires technical inspection of coastal and domestic waterway vessels navigating within the waters of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Technical inspections of coastal and inland vessels must be documented by a vessel technical inspection certificate, according to a September 4, 2025, release from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
