Sokimex Investment Group says it selected WATG to study key areas of the Bokor City project, including environmental protection and long-term development.

WATG (Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo), an international multidisciplinary design firm, will study key areas of the Bokor City development. Founded in Honolulu in 1945, it specialises in hospitality, leisure, urban development and luxury housing.
Sokimex Investment Group said on its official Facebook page on September 4 that its chairman Sok Kong had selected WATG to study key areas of the Bokor City development as a contribution to national economic growth.
Sok Kong described the partnership as important to the long-term development of Preah Monivong Bokor National Park in Kampot province. The plan focuses on protecting the environment and developing housing, commerce, education and other institutions in a sustainable way.

The report said that with government support, peace and political stability, WATG would continue to strengthen investment and contribute to the regional and national economies.
