Agricultural goods and other products grown or processed by Kandal farmers and producers are sold at the market in the Chramoh Chrouk area of Takhmao city. It opens on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.\nThe market has operated since 2019 under the Ministry of Commerce’s Accelerating Inclusive Markets for Smallholders project, or AIMS. The ministry provides direction and support, while the provincial administration and Kandal commerce department helped secure the site.\nThe market gives farmers, producers and small traders additional sales opportunities and connects producer groups with customers, helping them earn more and improve their livelihoods.\nThe Ministry of Commerce said promoting and using Khmer products helps raise domestic productivity and incomes, improve livelihoods and support economic and social development.\nPreah Sihanouk Provincial Television.
