The provincial water resources department dredged the canal on September 4 to improve drainage and ease the transport of crops.

Preah Sihanouk provincial crews dredged the canal at Tuol Totueng 2 village in Tuol Totueng commune, Prey Nob district. The work aims to speed up drainage, reduce local rainwater flooding and make it easier for farmers to move crops by water.
The provincial Department of Water Resources and Meteorology carried out the rainy-season dredging on September 4, 2025. The canal drains rainwater, provides a route for transporting crops and serves fishing boats.
