CDC certified two qualified investment projects in Kampong Speu: a tools and accessories factory and a toy factory, each worth about US$6 million and expected to create 382 and 283 jobs respectively.

Kampong Speu province received two additional investment projects that could create more than 600 jobs. According to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), certificates of qualified investment project status were issued for the two factories in the province.
One factory will make tools and accessories from metal and plastic, with investment of about US$6 million and 382 potential jobs. It is located in Building A3 on National Road 41, ភូមិត្រពាំងស្ទង, ឃុំស្នំក្រពើ, Kong Pisei district. The other will manufacture toys, also with about US$6 million in investment and 283 potential jobs, in ភូមិព្រៃសាលា, ឃុំរលាំងគ្រើល, Samraong Tong district. CDC congratulated residents of the two districts on the new investments.
