An aviation official reported over 40,000 flights, more than 5 million passengers and over 64,000 tonnes of cargo in January–September 2025, with each measure growing 12–14% year on year.

Cambodian civil aviation secretary of state and spokesperson 辛占塞雷武塔 said recently that several aviation indicators grew between January and September 2025: flight movements exceeded 40,000, passenger numbers topped five million and air freight exceeded 64,000 tonnes, with year-on-year increases ranging from 12% to 14%.
He said Cambodia’s three international airports handled 47,637 flight movements in the first nine months of 2025, up 12% from the same period in 2024. Passenger traffic reached 5.1 million, up 14%, while air freight totalled 64,513 tonnes, also a 14% year-on-year increase.
The spokesperson added that 32 airlines currently operated flights to and from Cambodia’s international airports, including four domestic and 28 international airlines.
