Phnom Penh police arrested 111 people during a raid on a suspected online-scam site in Tuol Kork district on 31 October.

On 31 October, Phnom Penh police, working with several departments, raided a suspected telecom-fraud site on Street 255 in Tuol Kork district and arrested 111 people allegedly involved.
Those arrested included 106 Indonesian nationals, 36 of them women, and five Cambodian men. Police also seized evidence at the site, including two Hyundai vehicles, one white and one black.
All suspects and the evidence were transferred to the relevant department of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police for further investigation under the law.
Police said the operation formed part of the nationwide campaign to eliminate telecom fraud and pledged to continue strict enforcement with zero tolerance for scam-related offences.
