Cambodia’s Information Ministry said information spread by the Thai Burma Railway and Thai Military Force pages was false and intended to mislead the public and media, urging use of official sources.

The Ministry of Information issued a clarification saying that information published by the Thai Burma Railway and Thai Military Force pages was fabricated and entirely untrue. The ministry said it was intended to mislead and deceive the public, particularly Thai people, as well as national and international media.
The ministry urged the public and media to use information from official sources to avoid being misled by false information and posts intended to cause harm.
