Cambodia and Yunnan agree to strengthen tourism cooperation

Preah Sihanouk Provincial Television, August 26. Cambodian Tourism Minister Huot Hak met Yunnan Vice Governor Xu Hao and his delegation the previous afternoon. They discussed Cambodia–Yunnan tourism cooperation and highlighted Cambodian destinations to attract more visitors from Yunnan. Both sides agreed to promote Cambodia more widely among people in Yunnan, in line with the 2025 Cambodia–China Tourism Year. Yunnan will also encourage local investors to develop tourism products in Cambodia. The two sides plan to organise a familiarisation trip for prominent Yunnan media representatives and online creators to visit Cambodia and help raise its profile internationally.
