Preah Sihanouk provincial authorities gave the owner of plot 2476 a week from the notice date to remove a fence they said encroached on a public road right of way. The province said it would remove the fence if the owner failed to comply and would accept no liability for damage. The fence stands on Street 118 in Village 2, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville. An August 29 letter said the provincial team had previously given the owner a week to remove it but the owner had not complied. The team returned to Street 118 for a second visit on August 5 and again asked the owner in person to remove the fence. The owner had not acted by the time of the report. The province renewed its instruction for the owner of plot 2476 to remove all fencing that encroached on the right of way within one week of the notice. The province said it would remove the fencing after the deadline if the owner did not. It would accept no liability for damage to possessions or property, and the owner would bear all removal costs. The provincial team had previously surveyed and spray-marked structures on public road land under a March 10, 2025 notice on opening planned roads, as part of an infrastructure project financed by the province’s 2025 budget.
