Preah Sihanouk Provincial Television, August 31 — The National Bank of Cambodia said on August 30 that Governor Chea Serey had received high grades from Global Finance in both of her first two years in office. The bank said the magazine awarded her an A− in 2025 for effective central-bank leadership. The bank noted that European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde, Philippine central bank Governor Eli Remolona and Monetary Authority of Singapore Managing Director Chia Der Jiun also ranked among the high scorers. Global Finance assesses central bankers in about 100 countries and jurisdictions for the effectiveness of monetary policy, including their contribution to growth, currency stability, inflation control and exchange-rate management. Only recipients of A−, A or A+ make this honour list. Reporter: Chenda Teyte Editor: Zhao Yi
