Tianjin, China — On Monday afternoon, September 1, 2025, the ninth waxing day of Bhaddapada in the Year of the Snake, Samriddhisak, Buddhist Era 2569, a Cambodia Chamber of Commerce delegation accompanied Prime Minister Hun Manet during his visit to Tianjin for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Plus summit.
Chamber vice-president លី ឃុនថៃ led the delegation to Ant Group on behalf of Kith Meng, president of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council for Cambodia. The delegation discussed digital finance, e-commerce and technology solutions.
The delegation sought to learn how digital platforms can help small and medium-sized businesses grow and to draw lessons from the development of the digital economy.
The report described Ant Group as a leading Chinese technology company affiliated with Alibaba Group. It provides digital finance and digital lifestyle services through Alipay, a payment platform established in 2004. Alipay offers users digital payments, consumer finance, wealth management, insurance and credit services.
