Preah Sihanouk Provincial Television, September 3 — Cambodia and Vietnam have met their $10 billion annual trade target, Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen said in a September 1, 2025 meeting in Vietnam with National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. He said the countries are now working toward a $20 billion target.
Hun Sen said progress in bilateral trade and economic cooperation had taken trade above $10 billion and laid a strong foundation for closer cooperation.
Tran Thanh Man welcomed Hun Sen and the Cambodian delegation to the 80th anniversary celebrations for Vietnam’s August Revolution and National Day, which marks independence. He said the visit showed that close ties built over time continue to grow.
The two sides described the relationship as a good-neighbourly and mutually beneficial partnership and agreed to expand cooperation in trade, investment and other areas.
