Its September 2 guidance called for better service and clear prices and terms to keep Cambodia a safe and welcoming destination during the traditional Buddhist observances.
The ministry asked businesses to work with authorities at all levels to maintain security, safety, public order, hygiene and the appearance of their premises. Kan Ben and Pchum Ben are scheduled for September 8–22, 2025 and are important to Cambodian Buddhists. The ministry also advised taking extra care with candles, incense, lamps, stoves and electricity to prevent fires.
