AMPLE AGRO PRODUCTS makes its first processed cashew shipment to Italy

Phnom Penh-based AMPLE AGRO PRODUCTS completed its first export of processed cashew products to Italy, a member of the European Union. At the September 4 launch of the company’s first container shipment of processed cashews to Italy, Commerce Ministry Undersecretary of State ឈរ ស៊ុនហុង called it a new step for the company and a contribution to implementing the 2022–2027 National Cashew Policy. EU Ambassador Igor Driesmans and British Ambassador Dominic Williams attended alongside the head of Cambodia’s cashew federation, the company’s chief executive and representatives of development partners. The official encouraged investors, businesses, small and medium enterprises, the cashew federation and other stakeholders to keep improving the quality of Cambodian agricultural and agro-industrial products.
