Cambodia’s government issued a sub-decree setting 21 days of public holiday in 2026 for civil servants, employees and workers. Prime Minister Hun Manet signed it on September 5. The sub-decree lists 21 days for 2026, compared with 22 in 2025. The reduction comes because International Labour Day and Visak Bochea both fall on May 1, 2026. The government grants civil servants, employees and workers three consecutive days off for each of Khmer New Year, Pchum Ben and the Water Festival. Other observances or royal festivals are marked with one day off each. Preah Sihanouk Provincial Television. By ង៉ែត ពិសាន្ត.
