On the afternoon of September 7, 2025, Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos arrived at Phnom Penh International Airport for a three-day state visit to Cambodia from September 7 to 9, at the invitation of King Norodom Sihamoni.
Tourism Minister Huot Hak and senior Cambodian government officials warmly welcomed the president and first lady at the airport.
During the visit, Acting Head of State Hun Sen was to host a state welcoming ceremony for Marcos and a Cambodia–Philippines summit on the morning of September 8, 2025. Marcos would also hold working talks with Prime Minister Hun Manet, accompanied by the signing of several agreements.
