Thailand: Government House sources said the prime minister would instead attend the summit tomorrow, with a Cambodia–Thailand peace agreement expected to be signed in Malaysia on October 26, 2025, with US President Donald Trump participating. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul had cancelled his ASEAN summit trip to chair a special cabinet meeting for mourning Queen Mother Sirikit Kitiyakara. At the solemn meeting on the morning of Saturday, October 25, 2025, leaders and civil servants wore black in tribute to the Queen Mother, who had died at 9:21 p.m. on Friday, October 24, aged 93. The peace signing ceremony was expected to move from the afternoon to the morning. If the United States could not attend, the Thai prime minister would delegate the signing to the foreign minister.
