Tea Seiha to attend ASEAN defence ministers’ meetings in Malaysia
Cambodia’s defence minister plans to attend regional defence meetings and bilateral talks in Kuala Lumpur from 31 October to 1 November.

Phnom Penh: At the invitation of Malaysian Defence Minister Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence General Tea Seiha will lead a senior Ministry of National Defence delegation to the 19th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting and the 12th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus. The meetings are scheduled for 31 October–1 November 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Under the theme “ASEAN Unity for Security and Prosperity”, the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting and ADMM-Plus will focus on advancing practical defence cooperation among ASEAN member states and with the Plus countries to address shared security challenges.
The defence minister will also attend four informal events: an ASEAN–Japan defence ministers’ informal meeting, an ASEAN–India defence ministers’ informal meeting, an ASEAN–China defence ministers’ luncheon and an ASEAN–United States defence ministers’ high tea.
In addition to attending the meetings above, the defence minister will hold bilateral talks with defence ministers from ASEAN countries and some Plus partner countries to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations and defence cooperation.
