The cruise ship VIKING VENUS arrived safely at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port on the morning of October 30, 2025, bringing 808 tourists for visits to the coastal province.
The Norwegian-flagged vessel measures 228.30 metres long and 28.80 metres wide, with a draught of 6.65 metres. It carried 808 passengers, including 423 women, of 20 nationalities, and 463 crew members, including 110 women, of 40 nationalities. The passengers included 671 Americans.
Visitors were due to tour Sihanoukville, including its beaches, pagodas and Phsar Leu market. The ship was scheduled to depart for Thailand on the afternoon of October 31, 2025.
