On the morning of October 31, 2025, Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk represented King Norodom Sihamoni at a blessing ceremony before the Great Stupa of the late King Father Norodom Sihanouk within the Royal Palace.
Senate President Hun Sen, Prime Minister Hun Manet, princes and princesses, the King's personal advisers, senior dignitaries and government leaders, the diplomatic corps, leaders of both Buddhist orders and civil servants attended.
Held in accordance with Buddhist tradition under the King's auspices, the ceremony offered prayers for the country, peace and prosperity.
