Sihanoukville welcomed the Norwegian cruise ship VIKING ORION on the morning of 1 November 2025, when it docked at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port.
The vessel carried 814 tourists, including 428 women, from 15 nationalities, as well as 471 crew members, including 113 women, from 41 nationalities.
The report described VIKING ORION’s arrival as a sign of continued growth in Cambodia’s coastal tourism and of Preah Sihanouk province’s importance as a regional maritime tourism destination.
