On the night of December 8, the General Department of Prisons evacuated 1,066 detainees, including 67 women, from Oddar Meanchey provincial prison, which faced a high risk from bombing and shelling during what the report described as Siamese aggression, to continue their detention at Siem Reap provincial prison. The transfer was completed with a high level of safety at 4:40 a.m. on December 9, 2025, using a total of 32 vehicles and 221 personnel. By Pai Sokhim.
