On the morning of December 25, 2025, Rithy Pech Chenda led a charitable team, including singer Pich Solika, to visit two shelters in Svay Leu district, Siem Reap province. They distributed food, daily necessities and other supplies to 1,000 displaced families in total. She also provided supplies to 120 women who had recently given birth and school materials and bags to 210 displaced children. The report described the charitable action as a demonstration of Cambodian solidarity. It also said that Thai military attacks at that time had displaced nearly 640,000 Cambodian civilians, kept hundreds of thousands of children out of school, and killed 30 civilians and injured 88. Rithy Pech Chenda conveyed greetings and concern from Senate President Hun Sen, Bun Rany Hun Sen, and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife. She encouraged displaced people to remain united, trust the government, strengthen their own capabilities and rebuild their homes and farms once the war ended. The report said Rithy Pech Chenda had previously supported various government-led campaigns and provided assistance to soldiers, military families and displaced people. On December 10, she delivered food and supplies to the Wat Kampong Sangke shelter in Preah Vihear province, in the district rendered as Chhaek in the source. On December 13, she provided food and supplies to two other shelters, Wat Run and Wat Prey, in Siem Reap province. Article: Nget Pisant Photos: Lay Kol, Keo Dara
