Cambodia’s government has decided to introduce a visa-free trial for Chinese citizens travelling from China, allowing stays of 14 days. The trial will run from June 15 to October 15, 2026, with no visa application or fee required; travellers will only need to complete an E-arrival card.
The government added that Chinese visitors may travel to Cambodia as many times as they wish during the trial’s validity period.
The government has also authorised the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to make proposals and negotiate with the Chinese government to ease and simplify visa application procedures for Cambodian tourists travelling to China, with the aim of achieving reciprocal visa exemption in the future.
