They included 399 Indians, 147 Chinese, nationals of Vietnam, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Nepal and many other countries, as well as 31 Thai citizens. The foreigners, suspected of working in scam centres, fled across the border from Myawaddy in Myanmar’s Karen State into Thailand after a crackdown operation targeting KK Park on Monday.
