He urged parents to support their children’s regular enrolment in school and to monitor their studies, character, morals, manners and behaviour both at home and in the community.

Parents should create a good learning environment at home, help their children with additional study and encourage a regular reading habit by spending time reading and discussing with them to strengthen their knowledge, thinking skills and independent learning habits.
In the digital age, Hun Manet stressed: “Please help guide and monitor your children’s use of technology and social media so that it is appropriate, safe and beneficial to their learning and development.”
He also urged male and female students and young people to keep studying, researching and improving themselves for well-rounded development, focusing on knowledge, skills, physical fitness and character so that they become capable and highly responsible human capital.
He called on them to love and care for themselves, love their families, maintain discipline and stay away from drugs, harmful habits and all forms of negative behaviour, in order to build a bright future for themselves, their families and the nation. By: Pai Sokhim
