Cambodia proposes green agro-industrial processing cooperation with Chinese firms

The report says investment-committee secretary-general Chea Vuthy met outgoing Chinese embassy minister-counsellor Zhong Jie and incoming minister-counsellor Xue Dong on June 8. Phnom Penh police describe arrests in Chinese businessman’s killing; four suspects still sought

Police said a 53-year-old Chinese property businessman’s killing followed longstanding shareholding and debt disputes. Four Chinese suspects were presented on June 7, while four remained wanted. China-backed fund launches seven Cambodian projects worth about US$1.98 million

The report says Cambodia and China signed an agreement in Phnom Penh launching seven projects under the 2026 Lancang–Mekong Cooperation Special Fund, worth about US$1.98 million.
